Cosmetics Plus approached Design Gallery to develop a new concept for their stores moving forward that also aligned with a new phase in expansion for the brand including a full brand re-imaging and an updated logo design. The new Cosmetics Plus retail stores were to move away from the currently clinical and overwhelming retail experience; to instead portray a brand that is affordable, on-trend and style oriented while still catering to the functionalities of the store such as the display of a broad product range. There is also an injection of on-trend design features such as exposed bulb lighting, neon signage features, fun visual merchandise display opportunities with Scandinavian furniture, and a cheeky play on the “Plus” content of the brand name.
