A moody, atmospheric design was requested by the client for Airlie Beach Tourism. Design Gallery worked closely with the lighting designer to ensure this ambience was achieved. The feature to this fitout was an illuminated, layered plywood map of Whitsundays to the wall behind the counter, which was also plywood with exposed edging detail. Blue and greys were the primary colours inspired by the beautiful ocean surrounding the small tourist town.
